I was not very good at getting our Christmas cards out this year. I made them and only sent out a handful before Christmas-the rest are still in a box in my office and will probably never make it to their intended recipients. Life just gets busy some times and there is not enough of me to go around. Nevertheless, it does not take away how important our friends and family are to us. We value their presence in our lives and try our best to keep everyone updated on our growing family in the hopes that we might be of some encouragement to you and your family. So for those of you who are close friends and family and did not get a Christmas card, it's totally my fault and totally not because you got missed or forgotten. Hopefully, you can get caught up here on our crazy lives here...so here is my feeble attempt to update you all on our growing family… |
![]() The one thing I was most excited about when we found out we were expecting a little girl was shopping for fabric to make her first quilt. I just couldn't wait to put together that first little creation with her in mind. I started googling quilt block patterns and knew generally what colors I wanted to use. Nothing overly pink and girly would be right and I wanted it to be something she would still like when she got older so cutesy baby fabric was out. |
