Sometimes it's just a small world. Many years ago, Caleb met a new couple at church that had recently moved to Moses Lake from Maple Valley, WA where they had previously attended the same church Caleb and I were attending during our engagement. Not only had they been going to the same church but they joined the same small group we had been part of all just shortly after we had been married and moved to Salem. How fun to meet people with some of the same ties as us! |
They recently had a little girl after many years of trying and waiting for children...little did I know how closely our stories would intertwine and what a comfort we would become to each other through sorrow and then again through joy. They have since moved away from Moses Lake, but we still keep in contact through Face Book and hold our bittersweet commonalities dear to our hearts. It is good to come through sorrow and back to joy with a friendly assurance that God never neglects to provide comfort through shared experiences in friendship. Photographing their first born daughter will always be one of my early highlights and an affirmation of the comfort and encouragement photography has been for others through us.
